ARRIVAL INFORMATION:
Keahole Airport, nine
miles north of Kailua,
has car rentals available; otherwise the Speedi Shuttle, . Once in Kailua,
a regular shuttle
bus runs the six-mile length of Alii Drive
every ninety minutes (8.30am_9.30pm ).
One daily bus follows Hwy-11
around the north of the
island to Hilo, leaving Kailua just before 6am and
returning in the evening.

15 feet away from your front door there are magical nature's tide pools, filled with tropical reef
fish, exciting sea creatures and the ever charming turtles.
I took this photo from the balcony
and as your able to see, there are 5 glorious Kona sea turtles climbing out of the ocean tide pools and heading up to the higher
ground for some nice warm bathing on the sun baked lava rocks .
